is a Lamu Native and a Clinical officer. She studies at Mount Kenya University. She enjoys working at a facility that has more tests than even the county hospital and everything is free. She has been with LCPH since 2022. Pediatric care is her passion. She has wanted to be a doctor since she was a little girl and found it difficult as a Muslim woman to have predominantly male providers in Lamu. Female patients are more relaxed around a female practitioner and can talk about sensitive topics etc.
is a senior laboratory technologist Microbiology specialist. Has worked at LCPH lab since 2017. Also works at the County Hospital. From Kitui County. Has lived in Lamu since 2010. Finds Lamu a calm place to live and a nice place to meet people from all over the world. Technical University of Mombasa for lab tech. a Lamu native, Thuweba collects data on clinic activities including book-keeping, patient census, outreach activities, volunteers, and guests. She works closely with the on-site supervisor and the executive director, and has managed the clinic since June, 2011.
is a certified lab technician who is new to LCPH. Though Amina was born and raised in Nakuru, she enjoys living and working in Lamu, where she has lots of friends and relatives. Amina is thrilled to work at the clinic because it offers services for free to those who are less fortunate.
In 2009, Majid, who was born and raised in Lamu, began converting his family woodworking shop into the clinic to help the poorest and most underserved members of his community. Majid, who volunteers his time and energy to the clinic, and his wife, Thuweba (the onsite manager), have dedicated their lives to ensuring that LCPH abides by its mission, to provide preventative healthcare of the highest quality to patients, free of charge.addressing the needs of our valued community members.

who hails from Western Province, is a Registered Clinical Officer. Solomon was trained at Mount Kenya University, and has been working at LCPH for ovefr a year. Solomon’s favorite aspect of LCPH is that it is dedicated to equity: everyone receives the same, high quality of care.
is from Central Kenya and has been working as a Certified Laboratory Technician at LCPH for the past four years. Kamau received his Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences at Kenya Methodist University in Meru. Kamu believes that LCPH offers high quality services and admires how well the medical equipment is managed at LCPH.
