Dollars go far in Lamu, and all contributions go directly to enhancing the healthcare services that LCPH provides to the Lamu community. Between 2012 and 2022, our caseload nearly tripled\u2014averaging 5,600 patients annually. In 2024, patient visits surged by 21%, reaching a record 9,036 cases\u2014the highest in LCPH history!<\/p>\n

The LCPH Laboratory opened in June 2012, funded by a Mount Holyoke College Alumna Fellowship. In 2016, a Rotary International Grant, supported by local and regional Rotary clubs, enabled us to purchase new screening equipment, further expanding patient services.<\/p>\n<\/div>
